Meet Your Coach

Rossman Run Lab is led by Daniel Rossman, a dedicated coach and lifelong runner.

After competing in middle-distance events throughout high school and narrowly missing a spot on a Division I collegiate team, he stepped away from competitive running, until the pandemic reignited his passion. Since returning, he has completed six half marathons, with a personal best of 1:22, and two full marathons, including a 2:58 finish at the 2023 Chicago Marathon.
Over the past three years, he has developed customized training plans and provided coaching support to more than 20 athletes across a range of experience levels, guiding runners in races in and beyond New York City.
One of his proudest coaching moments came when an athlete cut 50 minutes off his previous NYC Marathon time using this training approach.

He was born and raised in Queens, currently resides on the Upper East Side, and his favorite places to run in New York City are Astoria Park and Central Park.

The team's logo features the iconic Hell Gate Bridge in Astoria, NY, the place where Danny's passion for running was reignited and where he first began coaching athletes.
